Accident – Death – Obituary News :

In a shocking and tragic incident, a 30-year-old man has been accused of killing his mother and two young daughters in Gopalapeta village, located in the Thallada mandal of Khammam district. The gruesome crime took place in the early hours of Saturday, sending shockwaves through the local community.

The victims have been identified as 60-year-old Pichamma and her two granddaughters – 11-year-old Neeraja and six-year-old Jhansi. The motive behind this heinous act is believed to be a long-standing grudge that the accused, Pittala Venkateshwarlu, held against his mother.

According to police reports, Venkateshwarlu was resentful towards his mother for transferring her two-acre agricultural land to her granddaughters, bypassing him. This act of defiance apparently pushed him over the edge, leading to the brutal murders of his own family members.

It has also come to light that Venkateshwarlu’s wife passed away under suspicious circumstances two years ago. Since then, he has been living separately in Khammam with his ‘live-in partner’. Sources suggest that he had been pressuring his mother to transfer the land in his name, but she chose to bestow it upon her granddaughters with the support of village elders.

Enraged by this perceived betrayal, Venkateshwarlu reportedly strangled his mother and two young daughters at their residence during the early hours of the day. The Thallada police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the accused, who is currently on the run.

This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the deep-rooted issues that can fester within families, leading to unimaginable acts of violence. The community is left reeling from the loss of three innocent lives, as they grapple with the aftermath of this senseless tragedy.
