Additionally, he faces a charge of synthetic identity deception. Alongside him, 22-year-old Diego Diego Pascual was also arrested on a similar charge of synthetic identity deception.
Investigation Origins
The investigation was initiated by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force after receiving a tip-off from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip indicated that an online account was being used to store and share illicit material involving minors.
Following the lead, authorities identified Fermin Diego Pascual as the alleged owner of the incriminating online account. A search of his residence was conducted, resulting in the seizure of multiple electronic devices.
