Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a tragic turn of events, a 50-year-old man lost his life while out on a morning walk with his beloved dog in Malharganj police circle on Friday morning. The incident unfolded near the Laxmibai Fire Brigade station at approximately 5 am when an unidentified vehicle struck the man, resulting in his untimely demise at the scene. The driver of the vehicle fled the area following the collision.
The victim has been identified as Bherulal Kaushal, a resident of Kandilpura. Described as a dedicated beetle shop owner who remained unmarried, Kaushal made it a daily routine to embark on morning walks. Tragically, it was during one of these routine walks that he met with the fatal accident. As authorities launch an investigation into the incident, they are relying on CCTV footage to track down the driver responsible for the hit-and-run.
Dumper Fatally Strikes Bicycle Rider in Separate Tragedy
In a separate yet equally heart-wrenching incident, a 55-year-old man lost his life after being struck by a speeding dumper while riding his bicycle in the Gautampura police circle on Thursday. The collision occurred in the vicinity of Runji Chaupati around 2:30 pm, resulting in the immediate death of the victim.
The deceased has been identified as Bhaiyu, also known as Abbas Khan, a resident of Nayapura. According to his nephew Jawed, the tragedy unfolded when a dumper travelling at high speed collided with his uncle’s bicycle, causing Khan to fall onto the road and sustain fatal head injuries. The police have taken swift action by registering a case against the reckless driver responsible for the fatal incident.
