Accident – Death – Obituary News : A 30-year-old man in West Delhi’s Moti Nagar area was abducted and subjected to a horrific three-day ordeal by three men, including his own employer, inside a tent house shop. The incident took place following a quarrel that erupted while the men were consuming alcohol.
The Delhi Police revealed that the three perpetrators, identified as Surender (54), Sonu (33), and Manish (28), have been apprehended in connection with the case. Vichitra Veer, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), stated that the authorities received a distress call at the Moti Nagar Police Station on May 14 from the victim’s brother, reporting the abduction and sustained physical assault.
The victim was reportedly confined and restrained within the shop for an agonizing three days, enduring continuous beatings. A high-ranking police official disclosed that the altercation commenced on May 11 at the Super Centre Market in Karampura, where the men were engaged in a drinking session that escalated into a violent dispute. The victim was mercilessly attacked by the accused individuals and forcibly detained for an extended period.
The victim, who sustained severe injuries including fractures to his limbs and head trauma, managed to escape and seek help from the authorities on May 14. A criminal case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) pertaining to assault.
