Authorities apprehended a man on Tuesday morning after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of several outstanding warrants against him.

A detailed report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office revealed that the incident took place at around 12:20 a.m. when a vehicle was pulled over for traffic violations on Interstate Five northbound, near the Boomer Hill exit, just north of Myrtle Creek. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 34-year-old Todd Fredricks Jr, a resident of Winston.

Upon running a routine check on Fredricks, law enforcement officers discovered that he was wanted on multiple warrants issued by both Douglas and Coos counties. Subsequent verification confirmed the validity of the warrants, leading to Fredricks being taken into custody without any resistance. His bail was subsequently set at $10,000. In addition to the warrant-related charges, Fredricks was also issued citations for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
