Originally hailing from Lamlai Awang Leikai, Laishram Rajeshor Singh currently resides in Thangmeiband Lourung Purel Leikai, both areas within Imphal West district. Acting on intelligence gathered from the arrest, a joint team of state and central police officers conducted a follow-up operation in Phouoibi village in Thoubal district. This targeted raid, based on specific information about concealed arms and ammunition, led to a significant seizure.
During the operation in Phouoibi village, law enforcement officers recovered a potent 5.56mm MA-3 Assault Rifle, believed to have originated from Burma.
