The devastating incident took place on Wednesday evening, sending shockwaves through the community.

Details of the Incident

The girl’s father, Pradeep Nagar, had accompanied his wife and two daughters to the wedding function. Upon reaching the venue, the mother and elder daughter exited the car, while the father proceeded to park the vehicle, as reported by SHO Banna Lal of Khatoli police station.

Assuming that both daughters had entered the wedding venue with their mother, the father locked the car and joined the festivities. Over the course of nearly two hours, both parents engaged in conversations with various groups of guests, unaware of the tragic turn of events unfolding.

It was only when the parents reunited and inquired about their younger daughter, Gorvika, that panic set in.
