SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Authorities in Santa Rosa County arrested a 55-year-old man, Brian Alan Sroufek, on Monday after he was allegedly caught masturbating at a church, as per the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
The incident took place at Saint Sylvester Church where a female witness reported the indecent exposure to the authorities. According to the report, the witness saw Sroufek sitting on a bench on church property, where he proceeded to remove his pants and engage in the lewd act.
After the witness observed this behaviour, Sroufek fled the scene on a bicycle. Another member of the church followed him but did not confront him at that time.
When questioned by deputies, Sroufek claimed he had attended the church service and was merely “hanging around” afterwards. However, the victim’s account contradicted his explanation.
An arrest was made, and Sroufek now faces charges of indecent exposure in connection with the incident.
