WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – An 18-year-old individual has been taken into custody in connection with a report of shots being fired in Warren County, the authorities have revealed.
As per the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Jackson Bridge Road on Wednesday following a report of shots being fired.
Witnesses informed the WCSO that they heard several gunshots before witnessing a red Mustang speeding down Jackson Bridge Road towards Morgantown Road. The witnesses reported seeing firearms being brandished from the vehicle’s window, according to deputies.
Deputies were able to carry out a felony traffic stop on a red 1998 Mustang in the 8000 block of Morgantown Road while responding to the call, they stated.
The driver, identified as Aaron McQueary, 18, was arrested for driving under the influence, the sheriff’s office confirmed.
Authorities questioned and subsequently released the four passengers in the vehicle, two of whom were juveniles.
Although no firearms or ammunition were discovered in the vehicle, numerous rifle and pistol casings were found on Jackson Bridge Road near the location of the initial complaint, the sheriff’s office disclosed.
During the course of the investigation, deputies located an AR-15 rifle in the 9000 block of Morgantown Road.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
