Vivian M. Harrell, a 37-year-old resident of Trenton, has been identified in a disturbing video posted on social media. The video allegedly shows Harrell covering the face of an 8-week-old infant, potentially obstructing the child’s airway, while using vulgar language and pushing the infant’s head.
On May 15, 2024, the Trenton Police Department received reports of a troubling video circulating on social media. The video depicted an individual, later identified as Vivian M. Harrell, engaging in abusive behavior towards an 8-week-old infant. Concerned citizens alerted authorities to the video, prompting an investigation by the Trenton Police Department Special Victims Unit and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.
Following the investigation, Vivian M. Harrell was arrested and charged with second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and second-degree Aggravated Assault. The Division of Child Protection and Permanency has also been notified and is providing assistance in the case.
