Accident – Death – Obituary News : In a heartwarming turn of events, a Vaishali couple, Sindhu Kumari and Shiv Pujan Paswan, were able to breathe a sigh of relief as their precious newborn baby boy, who was cruelly stolen from the maternity ward of the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) on Tuesday, has been safely recovered by the police on Wednesday.
The police managed to locate the baby within 30 hours of the abduction at a rented house in the Rajapur-Mainpura locality under the Shri Krishna Puri police station area in Patna. A woman named Puja Kumari, aged 25 and a resident of Bakhtiyarpur, was arrested in connection with the crime. It is believed that she had intentions to sell the baby for monetary gain.
Pankaj Kumar, the Station House Officer (SHO) of SK Puri police station, revealed that the accused woman was identified through video footage analysis. She had taken a room on rent in Patna as part of her plan to steal babies from hospitals. The police are currently interrogating her to uncover other members of the gang involved in such heinous activities. They are also scanning her cellphone to trace her communication with potential buyers.
