A resident of Salem County, New Jersey, has found himself in trouble with the law once again. The Franklin Township Police Department, in collaboration with the Vineland Police Department, launched an investigation on the evening of May 9th in the area of West Boulevard and the Vineland city line. The focus of the investigation was a suspicious man who was wanted for questioning in connection with a burglary earlier in the day.

The suspect, later identified as 52-year-old Paul Driggers of Pittsgrove, was spotted in Vineland and attempted to flee on foot. Despite his efforts to evade authorities, Driggers was eventually apprehended by the Franklin Township Police Department.

During the search for the suspect, it was discovered that he had also attempted to break into another home on Church Street in Newfield. As a result, Driggers now faces charges of burglary and criminal trespass in Newfield, and additional charges are pending from the Vineland Police Department.

This is not Driggers’ first run-in with the law. Earlier in the month, he was arrested by Franklin Township police in connection with several burglary investigations in the Malaga section of the municipality. After being initially jailed on those charges, Driggers was released before being arrested again in this latest incident.

As of the latest report, Paul Driggers is currently being held at the Salem County Correctional Facility awaiting a detention hearing. It is important to note that all individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
