Karakala Rahul : “Bengaluru Student Tragically Jumps, Found Dead”

Bengaluru: A tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, as a 21-year-old student reportedly died by suicide in Bengaluru. The victim, identified as Karakala Rahul, allegedly jumped from the 5th floor of the PES University where he was pursuing a BTech in computer science. Hailing from Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool, Rahul was in his 6th semester at the university.

According to reports by Deccan Herald, Rahul’s body was discovered by fellow students at the university around 10:30 on Tuesday morning. The police, who investigated the incident, found no evidence of foul play through CCTV footage. The university was in the midst of exams, and it was noted that Rahul did not attend the exam scheduled for that day.

It has been alleged that Rahul was not allowed to enter the examination hall due to arriving late. Additionally, there were reports indicating that he was facing the prospect of being excluded from the annual campus placements, as reported by The New Indian Express.

The authorities are currently awaiting the arrival of Rahul’s family to further investigate the circumstances surrounding his death. The case remains under investigation, and more details are expected to emerge in due course.
