Accident – Death – Obituary News : NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The hunt for a teenager accused of fatally shooting a rapper last month has intensified, as he has now landed on Nashville’s “Top 10 Most Wanted” list. The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) updates this list weekly on their Criminal Warrants Division’s Facebook page, highlighting some of the city’s most dangerous offenders.

The current lineup of suspects on this week’s list includes individuals wanted for crimes ranging from homicide to sex offenses, aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, and even failure to report a deceased body. Among the newly added names is 19-year-old Adrian Cameron, who has been eluding authorities since mid-April when he allegedly shot and killed 32-year-old rapper Chris King. Shockingly, Cameron was already out on bond for another homicide that occurred in September 2021.

Following the April 20 shooting, Cameron is believed to have removed his ankle monitor, evading law enforcement. Despite extensive efforts to track him down, along with the other fugitives on the list, the MNPD reports that the program has led to over 100 arrests since its inception in October 2022, boasting an impressive 78% success rate. Notably, Mateus Alves was recently apprehended with the help of public tips.

Alves, accused of raping a teenage girl during a New Year’s Eve party in Nashville, surrendered to authorities following public assistance. The collaborative efforts of law enforcement and community members have played a crucial role in bringing several wanted fugitives to justice.

The latest “Top 10 Most Wanted” list for the week of May 15, 2024, features individuals like Adrian L. Cameron, Lagarrion L. Blacksmith, Jaylen Bender, Raceme Crutcher, Michael A. Yarlett, Adrian Abernathy, Anthony O. Etuk, Renee L. Mason, Ricky C. Roach, and Joseph Cavaleri. Each of these suspects is wanted for various serious crimes, and the authorities are urging the public to report any information that could lead to their capture.

If you have any details on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals, please contact the MNPD at 615-862-8600 or Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.

In conclusion, the ongoing efforts to apprehend these fugitives underscore the dedication of law enforcement in ensuring the safety and security of the Nashville community..
