A 40-year-old man, identified as Crandall Hall, is facing charges for shooting into a Montgomery city garbage truck as a crew was out collecting trash.
According to court records obtained by Action 8 News, the incident occurred around 1:30 PM on Monday in the vicinity of Woodmere Boulevard and Limestone Court, close to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
One of the workers stated that the man approached them to inquire about the delay in trash collection and why he was being recorded. Subsequently, the man brandished a gun and struck the driver’s door. As the truck began to drive away, the man fired a shot into the driver’s side door, with the bullet penetrating the driver’s seat. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Hall has been charged with firing a gun into an occupied vehicle, as indicated in the court records.
