Chris Dawson, a 75-year-old man convicted of murdering his wife Lynette in January 1982, is currently appealing his conviction in the New South Wales supreme court. The crown prosecutor, Brett Hatfield SC, argued that Dawson’s possessiveness of the teenage babysitter should be taken into account when considering his innocence.
