Authorities in Pennsylvania have announced a significant development in an attempted homicide case that occurred earlier this month. 31-year-old Anthony Martinez Young, a resident of Pleasantville, Pa., has been arrested in connection with the incident that took place on May 1 along Shamburg Road in Oil Creek Township, Venango County.

According to reports, a witness observed a gold, four-door 2007 Ford Fusion with tinted windows pull up the road. The witness then heard a verbal altercation between one of the neighbors and the driver, later identified as Young. Subsequently, Young approached the victim with a firearm, discharged three rounds, and quickly fled the scene in the vehicle towards State Route 227. Fortunately, all shots missed their target.

Following the incident, an extensive investigation was launched by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Fugitive Apprehension Unit in collaboration with members of the United States Marshals Service (USMS).

After receiving crucial new information, USMS, alongside the Virginia State Police, apprehended Young in Vinton, Virginia, at approximately 1 p.m. on May 13. Presently, Young is being held at the Roanoke City Jail in Virginia pending extradition to Pennsylvania.

At present, no further details regarding the case have been disclosed by the authorities.
