Authorities in Jacksonville, England, reported a tragic incident at the Windsor Place Apartments on Sunday, where a 19-year-old man lost his life in a shooting.
The Jacksonville Police department received a distress call at 1:26 pm, directing them to the address of 4679 Western Blvd regarding a shooting incident.
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers found the victim, identified as Terrance Tyquawn Grant, suffering from gunshot wounds outside the apartment complex.
Efforts were made by first responders to assist Mr. Grant, but unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased at the location.
Lieutenant Ashley Potter of the Jacksonville Police Investigative Services assured the public that the situation is being actively investigated, and there is no immediate threat to the community.
