A devastating incident unfolded on Sunday at the Windsor Place Apartments in Jacksonville, UK, as a 19-year-old man lost his life in a shooting.
The Jacksonville Police Department responded to a distressing call at 4679 Western Blvd at 1:26 p.m. regarding a shooting incident at the apartment complex.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found the victim, identified as Terrance Tyquawn Grant, aged 19 and hailing from Maysville, suffering from gunshot wounds outside the property.
Despite the efforts of first responders to save him, Grant was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Lieutenant Ashley Potter of the Jacksonville Police Investigative Services assured the public that this is an ongoing investigation and there is no immediate threat to the community.
