Bangladeshi Man Killed in Wild Elephant Attack in Gua Musang
A tragic incident occurred in Kampung Om, Pos Blau, Gua Musang, as a Bangladeshi man lost his life in a brutal attack by a wild elephant. The victim, identified as 29-year-old plantation worker Md Nawsher Ali, was accompanied by a colleague when they encountered the aggressive animal on their way back from the plantation.
Gua Musang district police chief, Supt Sik Choon Foo, revealed that the victim had no chance to escape before the elephant launched its attack. He noted that there were clear footprints of the elephant near the scene of the fatal incident.
The victim sustained severe injuries and tragically succumbed to them on the spot. His body was subsequently transferred to Gua Musang Hospital for the post-mortem examination. The authorities have classified the case as a sudden death, and investigations are ongoing.
