The human remains discovered near Atlantic City three years ago have been positively identified as belonging to Kevin Morris, a man who went missing from Staten Island over a decade ago. Morris, who was 32 years old at the time of his disappearance in October 2011, was reported missing while on his way to visit a girlfriend.
The skeletal remains of Morris were found in June 2021 in the area of South Pomona Road in Galloway Township, as confirmed by a news release from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. The discovery was made in a wooded area, with police also locating a cross nearby that read “RIP: Next time pay your dues,” as reported by BreakingAC.com.
The Major Crimes Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Morris’ death. Anyone with information regarding his disappearance or death is urged to come forward and contact law enforcement authorities.
