New Jersey authorities are seeking information after the remains of a man who went missing over a decade ago were discovered near Atlantic City on Staten Island.
Kevin Morris, who was reported missing from Staten Island in October 2011, was recently identified as the person whose remains were found nearly three years ago, in June 2021, near South Pomona Road in Galloway Township, according to a press release from the Atlantic County Attorney’s Office.
The circumstances surrounding Morris’ death are currently under investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding his death or disappearance is encouraged to contact law enforcement.
Multiple agencies are involved in the investigation, including the Galloway Township Police Department, the New Jersey State Police Bureau of Forensic Sciences, and the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
