Outraged locals protest against teenager.
Accident – Death – Obituary News :
In a heart-wrenching incident in Bengaluru, a five-year-old boy named Aarav was tragically run over by a car allegedly driven by an 18-year-old individual. The incident occurred on Sunday morning at 3rd Cross, Nanja Reddy Colony of Jeevan Bima Nagar in east Bengaluru. Aarav, who was innocently playing in front of his house, fell victim to the reckless driving of the teenager.
The young boy sustained severe head injuries when the speeding car mercilessly ran over him. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Aarav tragically succumbed to his injuries on the way. The loss of such a young life has left the community in shock and mourning.
Reckless Driving and Legal Action
According to eyewitnesses, the 18-year-old driver, identified as Devaraju, did not possess a valid driving licence. Reports suggest that he was driving his uncle’s car recklessly, hitting parked vehicles along the way before tragically running over Aarav. The irresponsible and reckless actions of the driver have raised serious concerns about road safety and the need for stricter enforcement of driving regulations.
Following the incident, the deceased boy’s father filed a complaint, leading to the registration of a case by the Jeevan Bima Nagar traffic police under IPC Sections 279 (rash driving or riding in a public way) and 304 A (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The investigation into the matter is currently underway to bring the responsible parties to justice.
Calls for Justice and Accountability
Expressing the community’s outrage and demand for justice, local residents have voiced their concerns about the delay in the legal proceedings. Srinidhi, a resident of the area, emphasized the need for swift action, stating, “We need justice for the child. If the authorities are unable to expedite the process, they should entrust us with the responsibility to ensure justice is served.”
Adding to the narrative, Panduranga, another local resident, highlighted a disturbing detail about the incident, revealing, “The car involved in the accident had ‘police’ written on it. The driver, who is the brother-in-law of the car owner, displayed a blatant disregard for safety by operating the vehicle without a valid licence.”
As the investigation progresses, the community remains united in their quest for accountability and justice for young Aarav, whose life was tragically cut short due to the reckless actions of an irresponsible driver.
