New Delhi: Pro-Khalistan Graffiti and Anti-India Slogans Discovered in Delhi Metro Stations

An FIR has been lodged following the discovery of pro-Khalistan graffiti and slogans targeting India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the pillars beneath the Karol Bagh and Jhandewalan Metro stations in central Delhi.

Authorities have taken immediate action to remove the offensive graffiti and slogans from the pillars, with a police investigation underway. A senior police officer confirmed the registration of a case under relevant sections of the IPC.

“Special teams have been deployed to investigate the incident. CCTV footage from the area and the metro stations is being reviewed to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. The graffiti and slogans have been promptly removed,” the officer stated.

Last November, the Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested a 38-year-old man named Malak Singh, also known as Malik, for creating pro-Khalistan graffiti on the walls of the ISBT flyover. The accused allegedly received payment from banned SFJ founder Gurpatwant Singh Pannun for the act.

Malik was apprehended in Kurukshetra, Haryana, following the discovery of the graffiti under and over Yudhister Setu, Kashmere Gate on September 27.
