The community is calling for justice to be served and for measures to be put in place to prevent similar accidents from occurring in the future.

Road Safety Concerns Highlighted

The incident has once again brought attention to the pressing issue of road safety in Lagos, where accidents involving pedestrians, especially children, are all too common. The lack of proper infrastructure, inadequate enforcement of traffic laws, and reckless driving behaviour contribute to the high number of road fatalities in the city.

Authorities and stakeholders are urged to take proactive steps to improve road safety measures, including the construction of pedestrian bridges, increased police presence on busy roads, and campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of following traffic regulations. It is essential to protect the lives of vulnerable road users, such as children, by creating a safer environment for all members of the community.

As the investigation into Bosede’s tragic death continues, the hope is that justice will be served, and her memory will serve as a reminder of the urgent need for greater road safety measures in Lagos and beyond.
