Surendra Singh : “32-Year-Old Man Found Hanging At Home – Family Suspect Murder”

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic incident unfolded in the Khudel police circle on Thursday night, as a 32-year-old man was found dead by hanging at his residence. While initial reports suggested suicide, the presence of bite marks and signs of physical trauma on the victim’s body have raised suspicions of foul play, prompting the police to investigate the case as a possible murder.

The deceased has been identified as Surendra Singh, a plumber hailing from Siwani village. His brother, Satyendra, has raised alarming allegations against Surendra’s wife, Swati, accusing her of orchestrating his untimely demise with assistance from an unknown accomplice. Satyendra pointed to the bite marks and bruises on Surendra’s face, hands, and private parts as evidence supporting his claims.

The family’s doubts were further fuelled when Swati informed them of Surendra’s alleged suicide by hanging. Upon arriving at the scene, the family observed discrepancies, such as the height of the noose being lower than Surendra’s own height, casting doubt on the official narrative of suicide. Surendra had been married for approximately four years prior to the incident.

An official police investigation has been launched into the matter, with the authorities conducting a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of Surendra’s death and unravel the circumstances surrounding it.

Man Faces Charges for Alleged Role in Wife’s Suicide

The Rau police department has registered a case against a man suspected of abetting his wife’s suicide, as per official reports released on Friday. The couple, who had entered into a love marriage in January 2024, tragically saw their relationship take a fatal turn when the wife consumed a poisonous substance at her parents’ residence on May 1, succumbing to its effects during treatment at a local hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Pinky Rathore, who, prior to her demise, recorded a distressing video detailing the physical and psychological torment allegedly inflicted upon her by her husband, Atmaram. Pinky had returned to her parents’ home around 15 days before her death, following a disclosure of her suffering to her family members. Despite efforts to mediate and reconcile the couple’s differences, Atmaram remained resistant.

In a final attempt to reach out to her husband, Pinky made a phone call before consuming the poisonous substance, but her plea fell on deaf ears. The police have consequently filed charges against Atmaram under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, holding him accountable for his wife’s tragic end.
