Steven Anderson : “Shocking Attack: Man Run Over, Kissed, Stabbed”

A shocking incident unfolded in Houston, Texas, on May 3, as 64-year-old Steven Anderson was brutally murdered in broad daylight. The chilling final moments of his life were captured by a nearby surveillance camera, providing crucial evidence in the investigation.

According to security footage obtained by local TV station KTRK-TV, Anderson was walking on Woodridge Square Drive in Houston to pick up his mail when he was suddenly struck by a car. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 20-year-old Karon Fisher by the police, then proceeded to reverse the car, running over Anderson a second time as horrified onlookers in the residential area tried to intervene.

In a disturbing turn of events, one neighbor emerged from a building holding a pillow, seemingly to offer aid to the injured man, only to witness Fisher stepping out of the vehicle with a knife in hand. The driver then proceeded to stab Anderson a total of nine times, as captured by the surveillance footage.

The security video, albeit blurred by KTRK-TV, reportedly shows Fisher flipping Anderson’s “limp” body, straddling and kissing him, before carrying out the brutal stabbing. Shockingly, the assailant then casually walks away from the scene, leaving Anderson to succumb to his injuries.

Upon the arrival of law enforcement officers at the scene, Anderson was found unresponsive in a driveway, having sustained multiple stab wounds. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene, as detailed in a press release from the Houston Police Department.

Thanks to the cooperation of eyewitnesses, authorities were able to swiftly locate Fisher, who was subsequently apprehended and brought in for questioning by detectives. The suspect was later booked into Harris County Jail and charged with murder, with bail set at $2 million.

In addition to the murder charge, Fisher also faces allegations of assaulting hospital personnel and evading arrest with a vehicle, as indicated by jail records.

Neighbours who bore witness to the gruesome murder expressed shock and trauma at the incident. One neighbour described the event as “very disturbing,” highlighting the horror of such violence unfolding in a seemingly safe residential area.
