Redmond, OR—Authorities in Redmond were called to 2812 SW Pumice Place following reports of multiple gunshots being fired inside a residence. The caller bravely disarmed the suspect before vacating the premises, prompting a swift response from Redmond Police, Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, OSP Troopers, and the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team (CERT).

Concerns were raised that the suspect may still have access to additional firearms within the property, heightening the urgency of the situation.

After a tense three-hour standoff, the suspect, identified as 59-year-old Redmond resident Mr. Robby Dulley, was successfully apprehended. Dulley faces charges including Menacing, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. He is currently receiving medical attention while in police custody, with investigations ongoing. He will later be transferred to the DCSO Adult Jail.

The Redmond Police Department expressed gratitude towards their partner agencies, the CERT Team, Deschutes County 911, Redmond Public Works, and the local community for their support during the incident.
