Authorities have confirmed that a 67-year-old man from Walnut Creek, identified as Kevin Osborne, has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a child over a decade ago. The arrest was made on April 30 by the Walnut Creek Police Department, following an investigation into incidents that occurred between 15 to 20 years ago.
The case was brought to the attention of the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office, which subsequently filed two counts of sexual assault of a child under the age of 10 and 13 counts of lewd act upon a child against the defendant. As a result, Kevin Osborne is currently being held in custody on a bail amounting to £3.3 million.
It has been revealed by the police department that there could potentially be other victims of the accused individual. In their statement, they expressed, “Given the nature of the allegations and the nature of the case, there may be other individuals whom the same suspect sexually assaulted.”
