A woman from Farmington, Missouri, was left with serious injuries following a single-vehicle traffic collision in Wayne County.
The incident, as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Reports, occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 11. The driver was travelling in a northerly direction on US Highway 67, just a quarter of a mile north of Highway F.
The crash transpired when the driver, operating a 2014 Infinity QX-80, veered off the right side of the road and collided with a highway sign. The vehicle subsequently overturned multiple times.
The driver, identified as 29-year-old Dezerea L. Kelley from Farmington, was airlifted by Air EVAC to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis for treatment of her severe injuries.
According to the MSHP, Kelley was not utilizing a safety restraint at the time of the accident.
