Authorities in the Bronx are on the lookout for two suspects involved in a violent attack that resulted in the death of a man on Sunday. The incident, which also left another individual injured, has shocked the local community.
Details of the Attack
The suspects, identified as a man and a woman, carried out the attack on Lafayette Avenue at around 3 p.m. According to the NYPD, the woman was assaulted with a cane and had her hair cut off, while a 27-year-old man was brutally beaten with a crowbar, sustaining severe injuries to his head and face.
Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers found the male victim unconscious and unresponsive. Despite efforts by first responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The exact cause of death will be determined by the city’s medical examiner’s office.
