Accident – Death – Obituary News : Ukiah Police Department Makes Arrest of Convicted Felon in Possession of Firearm and Drug Paraphernalia

The Ukiah Police Department (UPD) recently apprehended Robert Gardner, a convicted felon, for possession of a loaded Charter Arms .38 special revolver and drug paraphernalia. The arrest took place on 05/08/2024, around 8:20 p.m., when UPD officers encountered a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of Airport Park Boulevard in Ukiah. Gardner, the driver of the vehicle, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance, which led to a search of the vehicle.

During the search, officers discovered the loaded firearm hidden under Gardner’s driver seat, along with drug paraphernalia and a digital scale. As a convicted felon with a prior violation of 11378 H&S, Gardner was prohibited from owning or carrying firearms and ammunition. Consequently, he was taken into custody and transported to the Mendocino County Jail for further legal proceedings.
