Rebecca Joynes : “Teacher Sends Underwear Snap, Has Sex 30+ Times with Schoolboy”

A teacher sent a 15-year-old an X-rated underwear photo while on bail for ‘grooming’ another pupil before having sex with the schoolboy ‘at least 30 times’ and falling pregnant, a court has heard.

Rebecca Joynes, 30, is facing trial for six counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child, including two instances while being in a position of trust.

The allegations stem from her relationships with two students, identified as Boy A and Boy B, while she was a teacher at a Greater Manchester School. One of the students reportedly impregnated her while she was awaiting trial on bail.

Testifying in Manchester Crown Court, Boy B revealed details of his relationship with Joynes, stating that they engaged in sexual activities multiple times.

Boy B recalled receiving a provocative photo from Joynes, which escalated their relationship to a physical level.

Despite Joynes initially claiming she was infertile, she became pregnant with Boy B’s child, leading to emotional distress for the young boy.

The court also heard how Joynes was accused of grooming Boy A, taking him shopping, and engaging in unprotected sexual activities with him.

Messages exchanged between Joynes and the students were presented in court as evidence of her inappropriate conduct.

Joynes faces multiple charges related to sexual activities with underage students and breaching bail conditions.

The trial is ongoing, with testimonies shedding light on the disturbing details of the case.
