SYRACUSE — In a recent development, three teenage boys have been charged with multiple felonies following a shooting incident that took place at a house party in Syracuse, as reported by the local police department.

The Syracuse Police Department revealed on Thursday evening that two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old have been identified as the suspects in the shooting that occurred at a residence near 1175 S. 1950 West on January 20.

During the incident, the three teenagers allegedly shot another teenage boy in the leg, prompting the victim to seek immediate medical attention. Fortunately, the victim has since recovered from his injuries.

According to the authorities, all three teens are facing felony charges including discharge of a firearm, aggravated assault, and riot. Additionally, they are also facing misdemeanor charges related to the use of a firearm during a fight.

Further details provided by the Syracuse Police Department indicate that one of the 16-year-olds has been charged with additional felony counts, including arranging the distribution of a controlled substance and possession with the intent to distribute. This individual also faces a misdemeanor charge for possession of marijuana.

On the other hand, the 17-year-old suspect has been charged with felony counts for receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and possessing a firearm as a restricted person. In addition, this teen is also facing a misdemeanor charge of assault.
