Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Detectives in Mombasa have apprehended a Nigerian citizen in possession of 200 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of Ksh.600,000. The suspect, identified as Victor Chineye Ikone, was captured at White House Apartments in the Utange-Kisauni area as part of an intelligence-led operation by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

During a thorough search of the suspect’s residence, the authorities discovered the illicit substance concealed in a polythene bag inside a drawer in his bedroom. The white powdery crack was discreetly wrapped and appeared to be intended for distribution. Presumptive tests conducted by the DCI confirmed the substance to be cocaine, and it was found alongside materials that indicated potential repackaging activities.

Alongside the narcotics, law enforcement officers also recovered a collection of assorted SIM cards from various service providers. This discovery suggests possible involvement in telecommunications-related activities that could be linked to criminal operations.

Following his arrest, Victor Chineye Ikone was escorted to Port Police Station for processing before his scheduled arraignment in court. The authorities are conducting further investigations to uncover any potential connections to drug trafficking networks and criminal syndicates operating in the region.
