A tragic incident occurred in Bijbehera village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag, where a man lost his life after being buried under a sand slide while extracting sand. The victim, identified as Gulzar Ahmad Dar, aged 35 and a resident of Check Panjpora Bijbhera, was fatally trapped under the sand.
The unfortunate incident took place on Thursday, and despite efforts to rescue him, Gulzar Ahmad Dar could not be saved. He was rushed to the hospital, but was declared brought dead by the attending doctors.
