Lynchburg, Virginia – The Lynchburg Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a tragic shooting incident that resulted in the death of Bolden Jared Eubanks. The incident took place at the Kemper Street Apartments on Wednesday evening.
Authorities were alerted to the situation following reports of a malicious wounding at approximately 6:50 p.m. Eubanks was swiftly transported to Lynchburg General Hospital for medical treatment, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
The individual believed to be responsible for the shooting has been identified as Deshanta Olisha Marshall, a resident of Lynchburg. Marshall was promptly apprehended by law enforcement officials and has since been charged with 2nd-degree murder, Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Felony Child Endangerment.
Following her arrest, Marshall was remanded to the custody of the Blue Ridge Regional Jail, where she is currently being detained without the option of posting bond.
