A heartbreaking incident occurred in Nashik, Maharashtra, where a 30-year-old woman named Ashwini Nikumbh tragically took her own life. What makes this tragedy even more devastating is that Ashwini’s two young children, eight-year-old Aaradhya and two-year-old Agastya, were found dead in their home.
The authorities suspect that Ashwini, before ending her own life, poisoned her two innocent children. The incident took place at Hari Vandan’s Apartment in the Konark Nagar area of Nashik, where Ashwini reportedly jumped off the terrace around 7 am. Her husband, Swapnil, was away on a work trip at the time of the incident.
According to reports, a handwritten note was discovered at the scene, allegedly written by Ashwini, accusing her husband of subjecting her to torture. In a further heartbreaking detail, Ashwini recorded a video message before her death, blaming Swapnil for pushing her to take such a drastic step. The video was shared with their relatives before the tragic events unfolded.
In a separate incident that occurred in April this year, a second-year student of the BSc Nursing course at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi also died by suicide in her hostel room on the college campus. The police were alerted to the incident at 11:30 am and found the 21-year-old female student hanging in her room.
