Wananchi Reporter : “Body of Woman Found in Bomet Home”

Police in Konoin area, Bomet county, are currently investigating a distressing incident involving the discovery of a decomposing body of a woman inside her own home.

The deceased has been identified as Faith Kerubo, who worked as a casual labourer at a local tea farm in the area.

According to reports from the police, the body was stumbled upon by a concerned neighbour who had gone to borrow some food items from the woman.

Upon entering the residence after receiving no response at the door, the neighbour was met with the grim sight of the deceased lying on her side, covered with a blanket, and in an advanced state of decay.

The body, dressed in a black skirt and white blouse, exhibited visible signs of bruising, raising concerns about the circumstances surrounding the woman’s demise.

While the exact cause of death remains unknown, authorities are treating the case as a suspected homicide, pending further investigation.

The victim’s body has been transported to Kapkatet Sub County Hospital mortuary for preservation and a thorough autopsy as law enforcement officials delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding her tragic end.
