Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Eric Travers, a 30-year-old man who went missing on April 30 and was reported to the Mission police station, has been discovered alive in San Francisco county jail.

Travers, who had traveled from North Carolina to San Francisco to audition with the band Spirit Hustler, was last seen in the Tenderloin area. His disappearance prompted his brother to set up a fundraiser in order to fly out to San Francisco and hire a private investigator. Concerned for his well-being, the brother expressed his worry for their mother as well.

However, the search for Travers came to an unexpected turn when he was found in jail, where he had been booked for assault.

Arrest and Booking Details

According to the San Francisco Police Department, Travers, a 6’4″ white man weighing around 250 lbs, was detained on May 2 at 21st and Shotwell streets for throwing objects at vehicles and individuals. Allegedly throwing large rocks at two people and causing damage to a vehicle, he was taken into custody after an investigation.

Initially providing a false name, Travers was later identified and booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and felony vandalism. It was revealed that he suffers from epilepsy, and the lack of medication, which was left behind in his hotel room, may have contributed to his behaviour.
