Cleveland, Ohio (WOIO) – A homicide investigation is currently underway in Cleveland after a man was discovered slumped in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds, as confirmed by Cleveland police.
Officers responded to a Shot Spotter Alert in the 2400 block of East 46th Street at around 6:05 p.m. on May 6, following reports of five rounds being fired. A woman also called in moments later, frantic and screaming that someone had been shot.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found the victim, identified as 44-year-old Adam M. Corbett of Berea, slumped in the driver’s seat of a black Nissan Rogue with multiple gunshot wounds.
Sgt. Urbania requested the assistance of the Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit and Special Investigation Unit to investigate the scene further.
