Aadarsh Pal : “Indore Youth Arrested with ₹1 Lakh Smack”

Indore, Madhya Pradesh: A young man was apprehended by authorities in the Tukoganj area as he attempted to distribute drugs with a street value exceeding Rs 1 lakh on Tuesday. The arrest was made following a tip-off received by Tukoganj police station in charge, Jitendra Singh Yadav.

Police received information suggesting that a youth was planning to deliver a significant quantity of smack drugs to an individual in the Pandey ka Bagicha area. Acting swiftly on the intelligence, the police team swooped in and apprehended the suspect, identified as Aadarsh Pal, a resident of the Aerodrome locality. Upon searching Pal, authorities discovered approximately 14 grams of illicit substances in his possession, with an estimated value exceeding Rs 1 lakh.

The detained individual reportedly confessed to sourcing the drugs from a person named Shahrukh in the Khajrana area. Efforts are currently underway to locate and apprehend Shahrukh, with police expressing confidence that additional arrests linked to the drug supply chain are imminent.

Separate Drug Bust in Sanyogitaganj Yields Seizure of Ganja Worth Rs 72,000

In a separate enforcement operation, Sanyogitaganj police intercepted a man hailing from Sardarpur in Dhar district who was in possession of ganja valued at Rs 72,000 on Tuesday. The individual, identified as Ishwar Jat, was apprehended while attempting to deliver the contraband within the city limits. Authorities seized approximately six kilograms of ganja from Jat.

A heart-wrenching incident unfolded near Harniya Kund in the Khudel police circle where a 15-year-old girl tragically lost her life by drowning in a local pond while bathing with friends on Monday.

The deceased, identified as Shivani, daughter of Jeevan from Phali Kankar, had informed her family members that she was heading out to pick raw mangoes. However, her friends later informed the family of the unfortunate turn of events as Shivani inadvertently ventured into deep waters and misjudged the pond’s depth. Despite valiant efforts by her companions to rescue her, Shivani succumbed to the water.

An investigation has been launched by the police to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident and provide closure to the grieving family.
