PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) has confirmed the identity of a man who was fatally shot in Temple Hills on Sunday night.
According to authorities, the incident took place on May 5 at approximately 11:20 pm in the 2600 block of Southern Avenue, where officers were called in response to a shooting.
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement discovered the victim, identified as 22-year-old Louis Smith Jr. from Greenbelt, inside a stairwell with gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries on-site.
