The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) has confirmed the identity of the man who was fatally shot in Temple Hills on Sunday evening.
According to authorities, the incident took place in the 2600 block of Southern Avenue at approximately 11:20 p.m. on May 5. Officers were called to the scene in response to reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the victim, later identified as 22-year-old Louis Smith Jr. from Greenbelt, with gunshot wounds in a stairwell. Tragically, Smith succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
