An 11-year-old boy named Shaurya Khadwe tragically lost his life while playing cricket in Pune, after being struck by a ball in a sensitive area. The heartbreaking incident took place in Lohegaon on a fateful Thursday.
Shaurya was enjoying a game of cricket with his friends when the unfortunate accident occurred, all captured on a CCTV camera. While bowling, the young boy was hit by a powerful shot from the batsman, directly impacting his private parts. The impact caused Shaurya to collapse on the ground, as depicted in the video footage.
A student of Ramnbaug School in the city, Shaurya was in the 6th standard at the time of the incident. In a desperate attempt to save him, one of his friends rushed to his aid, with another trying to revive him. Despite their efforts, Shaurya could not be saved and was quickly taken to a nearby private hospital. Tragically, doctors at the hospital declared him deceased.
