Tragic Incident at Ned Houk Park
The incident took place at Ned Houk Park near Clovis, New Mexico, where Eleia’s mother, Samantha Cisneros, and another woman, Taryn Allen, both 23 years old, were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds on Friday afternoon. Clovis is situated around 100 miles southwest of Amarillo, Texas.
Authorities discovered an infant car seat, stroller, and baby bottle at the scene, leading them to inquire with Cisneros’ family about the presence of a daughter.
Identification and Discovery
Through discussions with family members, investigators confirmed that Samantha Cisneros was the mother of Eleia Maria Torres. The child’s older sister, who sustained a head injury during the incident, was also present at the park when the tragedy occurred.
Following Eleia’s disappearance, an Amber Alert was issued on Friday to aid in the search efforts.
