Man Killed in Tragic Car Crash in Prince George County
Tragedy struck on Thursday evening in Prince George County, Virginia, as a man lost his life in a fatal car crash. The incident occurred when the sedan he was driving collided with a tractor along County Drive, resulting in his untimely death.
According to reports from the Prince George County Police Department, the collision took place at approximately 3:02 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, at the 10000 block of County Drive. The crash involved a 2010 Toyota Scion and a 2015 Kenworth tractor transporting logs, both travelling in the eastbound lanes.
The driver of the Toyota, identified as 25-year-old Shelton Gerod Haskins from Waverly, was the sole occupant of the vehicle and tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene. In contrast, the occupant of the tractor emerged unscathed from the collision.
