Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A 19-year-old boy was recently apprehended for attempting to write a class 10th board exam on behalf of his unwell friend in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place at CBS Convent School, where the imposter, identified as Sanjay Pal, was caught in the act during the fifth exam session.

According to authorities, the fake examinee had successfully completed four papers before being discovered by local education officials conducting a routine check at the examination centre. It was revealed that Pal was taking the exam on behalf of his friend, a student of Hariom Convent School, who was reportedly unable to attend due to illness.

District Education Officer Ajay Katiyar expressed concern over the oversight, questioning why the imposter had not been identified earlier. He emphasised the need for stricter monitoring and supervision to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.

Upon interrogation, Pal confessed to his actions and admitted to taking the previous four papers on behalf of his friend. A case has since been registered against him under the Examination Act, following a formal complaint lodged by the exam centre’s director.
