A 23-year-old man from the 3500 block of West North Avenue has been charged with armed robbery in connection to a series of incidents that occurred on the Northwest Side of Chicago in December, according to the Chicago Police Department.

The suspect, Anthony Wilson, has been accused of committing four counts of robbery with a firearm. The charges stem from his alleged involvement in a string of robberies where he brandished a firearm and stole money from two female victims, aged 23 and 48.

The first set of robberies took place on December 30, shortly after 6 p.m., in the 3200 block of West Lawrence Avenue. Wilson was identified as the individual responsible for these incidents. Additionally, he has been linked to two other robberies that occurred less than two hours later in the 5600 block of South Ridge Avenue.

Wilson is set to appear at a detention hearing on Friday to address the charges brought against him.
