A 29-year-old man from DeKalb County, Georgia, has been taken into custody after allegedly committing a robbery in front of his young children. The suspect, identified as Anthony DeVaughn Edwards, reportedly brandished a firearm and stole items from his partner while the minors were present.
According to deputies, Edwards forcibly took a cell phone and apartment keys from the mother of his child at gunpoint. The incident took place at their residence, leading to Edwards’ arrest by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of SWAT team members. The arrest occurred at an apartment complex located on Oakley Industrial Boulevard.
Edwards is facing multiple charges, including armed robbery, aggravated assault with intent to rob, cruelty to children 3rd degree, and criminal trespassing. Following his arrest, he was transported to the DeKalb County Jail for processing.

In a recent development, a tragic incident unfolded in Gwinnett County, where a couple was discovered deceased in their home. Fortunately, their young child, believed to be no more than two years old, was found unharmed inside the residence.
